Position description

We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Cold Calling Specialist to join our business development team. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential customers via phone to introduce our services, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to potential leads using provided scripts or custom messaging.

  • Introduce and promote the company’s services to new prospects.

  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and gather relevant information for the sales pipeline.

  • Schedule appointments for the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, conversations, and outcomes in the CRM system.

  • Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns or previous outreach efforts.

  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly call and appointment-setting targets.

  • Handle objections professionally and work to improve call effectiveness over time.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, lead generation, or sales.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

  • Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
